My clinical approach

My clinical work is guided by my dedication to women's health and emotional well-being during life's many complex transitions. My therapeutic style is warm, engaging, collaborative, and solution-focused. I aim to create a safe, affirming, and productive space to develop effective coping skills to improve mood and quality of life, reduce anxiety and distress, enhance resilience and self-worth, and identify and modify thinking and behavior patterns to support achievement of personal, family, relationship, and career goals. I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic approaches, and mindfulness-based techniques.

I specialize in working with women coping with stress and adjustment during their reproductive years, including pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, infertility and difficulty conceiving, medically complex pregnancies, pregnancy loss, and trauma associated with reproductive stressors and birth. My expertise includes evaluation, consultation and treatment of perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders as well as grief and trauma processing. I also offer parent coaching and support for maternal adjustment across the family lifespan.

In addition, I offer broad-based psychotherapy services to support individuals with a range of mental and behavioral health concerns including anxiety disorders, depression, grief, low self-esteem, perfectionism, OCD, impact and management of chronic medical conditions, trauma, and adjustment to life transitions.
